Pear Limited takes fog-computing technology from concept to reality. Conforming to the “XaaS” philosophy, incorporating the crowdsourcing paradigm and agglomerating the Sharing Economy, Pear can scale up a network with a pool of resources, provide reliable services, and make a subset of fog on the ground.
Leveraging idle computers, bandwidth and storage resources at user-end edge devices, early versions of our high-performance and low-cost Fog CDN have been released to media content providers (CPs), along with Fog VPN for individuals, international trading firms and R&D institutions.
In addition, Pear has launched the PearSharing Box, with intrinsic cooperation from hardware vendors such as Lenovo, Newifi, and QANP, to practice Pear Fog Computing.
